What the Fuck?

Let's do something.
Let's have some fun.
There's only 3 months left;
so let's make it the time of our lives, hun!

BTW!

I believe I write just fine in English! Goodness!

It's a freakin' blog, not an essay XD

Get.The.Fuck.Out.

Sometimes...
English doesn't look how I want it to...
So!

iFix.

I like freakin' semi-colons!

and I like to write how I speak

and I like italics!!

I've written many things in English that make perfect sense and are extremely well written ~.~!

Silly people.

ALSO:

IF MY POSTS AREN'T INTERESTING TO YOU DON'T READ THEM!

I'm not interested in being the most popular blog on the web.

It's on the freakin' side of the page!!

"Blog for me, not for you. ♥"

The heart makes it all the more better, too.

Grrrrrrr XD

"Sillyness" makes me grumpy.

Down with the Sickness!

*weird monkey noise*

...?

I haven't been feeling too well lately, things have been pretty nasty.

There's um...

a whole lot going on, I'm really confused...

All of it is taking a toll on me, and making me pretty somber...

The main thing is my Mom yelling at me every night XD Sort of sucks

but there's been some stuff at school that is just killing me...

I'm in the middle of a bit of soul searching, as the year winds down...

I want to make this the best time of my life, but for some reason

...I'm not happy?

I want to do crazy things, things I'd never do! (not drugs~!)

They'd make me smile but;

They'd ruin my life right now...

but I'm only 18, should I really be worried about all kinds of crap?

or should I do what I want, and be happy?

Could I take all of what would happen?

siiiggggggh..!

SMN on Tiamat

...now I don't feel so lazy anymore.

OKAY!

So like, SMN is hella beast on Tiamat.

It's a damn shame that I never kill the thing anymore (yeah, right) but now I need to find a way to entertain myself, since I just woke my brain up.

Damn you brain, damn you!!

ANYWAY.

SMN on Tiamat is different from normal fights, since in the air you can only use basically Nether Blast... or Group 2 Merits... or whatever... basically you just can't use Predator Claws.

'Kay, Nether Blast (Group 2 Merits too) does not compare at all to Predator Claws.
It does like, 150 damage, versus the average of 500-600 of PC, with the chance of a like, 1.1k PC.

So your goal on SMN at Tiamat, is to get the most PCs off as possible while Tiamat is on the ground.

Tia stays on the ground for two minutes, or until the group killing her does 10,000 damage. (It's going to be two minutes, 9 times out of 10) Tiamat will also always stay on the ground if she is currently under the influence Mighty Strikes, but once it's over, she'll fly. (Tia loves that shit, fo'sho.)

Two minutes allows for 3 PC, if timed correctly.

You've got to get your first PC off as soon as Tiamat lands. No joke.

Then you rest one tic, and get back up, resummon.

If you've got about ~10 secs on your timer left, go ahead and make Garuda attack the dragon.

Your goal is to only hit the dragon once with a normal attack, to confirm range, and then hit PC instantly. The faster you are the better. If you're amazing and can confirm range without one normal attack, then kudos to you!

Dismiss instantly, do not let that dragon have TP!

Rince, repeat, always with the same promptness, or you're going to lose your third PC.

Once the dragon flies, take the time with /clock or whatever...

You can either:

A) Use Nether Blast once, for added damage, if you have the MP. ONCE ONLY and do it like it was a 4th PC, as fast as you can, you want your timer to be up for Tiamat's landing. You can usually do two or three rounds of PC > PC > PC > NB before you need to skip NB.
B) Rest your MP up to full, if you're low.
C) Go to the bathroom and not tell anybody (This is hella win)

At about 20-30 seconds before Tiamat lands, pull out your Garu-Beast, and get her all prepped.

Send her in at about 10 seconds to land

Caution here: Do not get Gardua killed. If she dies, you'll probably be too behind to make up time to get in the 3rd PC. Watch out for Firaga III, because that + Touchdown is sort of deadly.

Rinse and repeat 'til you get to 20%

At 20% the dragon starts PMSing, for freakin' real.

You want to avoid giving this thing any TP whatsoever.

So! You do the normal thing, except you run up to Tiamat, and just BP.

DO NOT ASSAULT ANYMORE! Assault = TP; TP = bad.

That's about it for the general fight. It's helllla boring :]

With the addition of Elemental Siphon, SMN is totally able to be self sustaining at Tiamat, without any form of Refresh, save their own. (This also makes COR the ideal support for a SMN party. PUP roll (Pet Acc) and BST roll (Pet Attack) rooock~! If you're running out of MP you're either:

A) Doing it wrong
B) Don't have a lot of hMP gear (like missing a Dark Staff or something o.O?)
C) Not resting

Useful Thing: Elemental Siphon and Stoneskin have the same "timer" (5:00 recast on Elemental Siphon; 5:00 duration on Stoneskin) They also take up the about 30 seconds you've got to rest between PCs. So you can replace a resting session to do Elemental Siphon > Stoneskin. (Order doesn't matter, I just do it that way for macro reasons) If you repeat this process, you'll get the most MP back from Elemental Siphon up as possible, and you'll always have Stoneskin up.

Why in the world does it matter?:

More damage means the dragon is dead faster.
Dragons being dead faster = less boredom, less time spent, drops faster, and the most important reason!
The less time the thing is alive, the less time there is for someone to mess up/mages to overhate. Tiamat is a hard beastie, and after about an hour of two, depending on the mages, people are going to pull hate. So if it's dead in an hour, well, you've just saved lives, and made the whole fight less stressful. PLDs sometimes mess up too :] and God knows a tank dying at Tiamat is terrifying XD

Extra Note: PAY ATTENTION TO WHAT YOU'RE DOING! People tend to get mad when other people wake dragons up from ES Sleeps in bad situations. Always keep an eye out for what is going on, and stay awake, no matter how bored you are! Also, -BP delay gear is hella awesome, if you don't have any, go get some! :]

Some useful gear for -delay: (The Austere Robe Set is also a cheap alternative, notably Hands/Head)

* I don't have Summoner's Spats on this list because Oracle's Braconi, or Marduk's Shalwar beat 'em out. I don't know if I'd use AF2 Pants over AF1 Pants, but if I didn't have a whole lot of -delay gear, I would!

Because Trey is Nub ♥

So, sky tonight!
Like five minutes ago, no joke!

I asked Trey for Refresh on SMN, and he said no.
I said he doesn't understand SMN then!
and I don't really want to explain to him tonight, 'cause I'm hella lazy.

But let me explain here, because blogs are so much more understanding :]
...and less nub

The whole point of SMN is getting as many BPs out as possible, so you put out the most damage possible.
That makes sense, right?

There's a base minute delay between BPs, but it's usually about 45 seconds with 75 gear and stuff.

BPs cost about... 150 MP per... right?

and you got that whole... about 30 seconds (I give 15 seconds to being slow on resting/getting up and resummoning) to rest! Which is one tic... then it's time to get up and BP again!

See now, if you rest up 100 MP of that 150 you just previously used, you've only really lost 50 MP.

If you add Refresh, or Ballad, or something of that sort on that, you don't really even lose MP.

Now, my numbers aren't really exact (or honestly, I don't even think they're near XD), but the reduction in MP loss allows SMN to BP longer without resting for a while, which in turn leads to more damage. SMN is all about conserving MP the best you can, and timing.

More damage, means mob is dead faster.

In sky tonight, it hardly mattered at all, because it was freakin' Suzaku, and who in the world takes Sky Gods seriously?

But I posted this just for refrence :]
...and to call Trey a nub ♥

Mardi Gras!

!!! So excited for today in French :]

Get to chill with all the Frenchies, eat food... relax...

and I'm just watching a movie in English

how could today be any more simple?

Bring on Fat Tuesday!

Nasty Nasty Shell-Fish~!

So, talking to Packer, we found ourselves on a rather odd subject...

People being selfish...

Now, to be honest, I don't mind people being straight up selfish as much as...

People pretending to care about others, to make their own person seem better and more deserving.

That, really ticks me off!

I mean seriously, don't be a devious ass, and run a person, or a whole bunch of people into the ground.

Besides that, you're really not devious.

People with half a brain know what you're up to.

I honestly have way more respect for someone who will admit they are only out for themselves rather than a person who lies, and uses others.

Trust, and the truth in general, keep bonds and relationships strong.

Being able to admit to faults and work through them, makes them even stronger.

It's like a 5 year old pretending to be nice to another kid...
so he can get another birthday present...
when he already has a stack as tall as his father.

It's freakin' sad...
for freakin' real people, grow up.

This isn't exactly directed at anyone, just angst at the world, for the win, dude.

AP English Makes People Crazy

We had to do some project in English where we had to make a Pod Cast on some subject from Regency England...

My partner and I got horses! How wonderful!

Ironically enough, Kylie is a person in RL, so she is the K, and I'm the D.
Though, it doesn't really matter anyway...

This is horribly horrible, and please only read it if you're really freakin' bored...
You might learn something.

lolwut

K: So Darlene, I didn't talk to you all weekend? What was going on with that?

D: Well, my mom was a little off her rocker and decided to go to the horse races to relieve some stress.

K: Really? Horse racing was one of the most popular sports back in the day.

D: Yea, but wasn't horse racing reserved mainly for the rich folk?

K: Yes, it was very expensive to own and maintain a horse. It was considered a luxury. You even had to pay a tax if you owned a horse.

D: Oh yea, I heard of some Prince Regent that had to pay annually 30,000 pounds to keep up his horses.

K: Wow, considering that people lived comfortably on 2,000 pounds a year, that's insane.

D: But his horses were all thorough bred, like any fancy race horse at the time.

K: Well were all horses thorough bred and that expensive?

D: Well no, not exactly, there were fashion horses for carriages, hunting horses, work horses and then donkeys.

K: Oh I see. wasn't there some certain kind of horse that was a have to have almost like a trend?

D: Yes actually the Cleveland Bay made you prime meat at the market.

K: Did owning four make you prime rib?

D: Yea just like owning 4 donkeys makes you an ass lover.

K: Besides being a fashion statement, horses were also used for hunting right? Like what did they hunt for with horses back then?

D: Mostly foxes.

K: How interesting. Well to me it seems like mostly men were involved with horses other than women riding in carriages. Did women ever ride horses themselves?

D: Actually women did ride horses, they rode them side saddle alternating sides each day.

K: Oh right, to keep them from developing an overly enhanced buttock on one side.

D: Precisely. And horses did normal things that we'd expect them to do today.

K: Yea a normal transportation or field horse was also a lot less expensive to manage.

D: Only about 400 pounds a year.

K: That still sounds pretty expensive. Did they have like rent-a-horse?

D: Yes actually they did. It was called jobbing. If a person needed a horse they would go to their local jobber who would rent the horses out.

K: So what about people who still could somewhat afford to own their own horses and didn't want to rent every time they needed a horse?

D: Many would resort to donkeys because their price range was only 5 pence to 3 pounds.

K: So if I bought the more expensive donkey I would have a high class ass?

D: I guess so.

O M G . . . !

Oh my God.
Oh my God.
Oh my God.
Oh my God.
Oh my God.
Oh my God.
Oh my God.
Oh my God.
Oh my God.
Oh my God.

I feel really good right now.
Total peace out, girl scout.

Coeurl Sautee, Yum Yum!

Since my venture with the Marron Glace is over, it's time to move on, which means more equations and figuring things out and all...

Man, I wish I had my computer :(

/tear

So we've got:
Fire Crystals @ 50g
Olive Oil @ 12g
Coeurl Meat, which I am farming :]
Grape Juice... which is 397g (4x grapes, dark crystal)
Selbina Butter I think is 155g per (rock salt, selbina milk, ice crystal)
Black Pepper 280g
750g for Wild Onions... :/ AH only sucks but this is @9,000/stack so whatever!
Like 12g for Rock Salt, lol
250g each for Honey, @3,000/stack

1,906 per synth! Whoa baby~
...and what a pain in the ass synth it is!

Let's hope these turn into subs well... damn fool XD

Gonna need like... let's say 8 stacks of these things at the maximum

...great...

XD

182,976 for sautee!

...lol

but providing all of those mats would make me 96 Sautee, if I was God and made every single one...

On the AH's standards, 96 Sautees = 576,000

So I think I'm okay... also providing I don't blow a whole lot of them up while making subs...

So let's say I make 72 of 'em... 75% of mats made is a resonable inference, isn't it?

432,000 is good.

But who cares! I'm making them into subs later!

So let's see how we fare making subs.

Earth Crystals. 50g
Crying Mustard 25g
White Bread 180g (Sandy must be first or second..!)
Selbina Butter, for 155g again
Mithran Tomatoes, for 44g
La Thine Cabbage, for 21g (Sandy must be first or second..!)
Coeurl Sautee, saved.

Total: 475g

34,200 for 6 stacks of junk

...and I get 6 subs per synth

So for one stack of Subs... it's 4,762g

They sell for about 9k usually, and at lightning speed!

So if I make 75% of my sub mats, 54 synths

...that's 324 subs.

...162 stacks...

is... /drumroll

686,556g!

MINUS 217,176
...and AH fees, I dunno what the hell they are...

...damnit

469,380 profit :] sort of

I'll say 450k, and call it even?

...and skill, of course!

You know, its hard to craft when you're a cheapass, but doing the math makes it look so much more promising... the only thing I'm concerned about here is not having enough Sautee to make all of the subs I need to get to 93... but I think I can just synth something else, anyway!

Thank You!!

Hit 86 cooking today :]

so that means no more Marron Glace..!

sooooo exciting!!

Thanks a ton to everyone who sent me crystals :]

...but now does anyone wanna buy the damned things? hahahaha XD

The END of Mock Trial!

Mock Trial is exactly what it's called.

We mock a trial.

:]

It runs from about September 'til the end of Jan

...we just happened to start in November this year... but whatever~!

Anyway, during the month of Jan we go and mock this trial!

We go to the courthouse, with a judge and everything, and go up against different schools...

it's a really good experience, even if you want nothing to do with the law or being an attorney in your future...

but best of all!

you get to hang out with cool people all the time!

Yay!

Anyway, that was to make this post a little more useful than just a picture

...because that was my only intent in the first place
Yep, we're super cool! :]
I'm so glad this is over.... man it's fun but not having to go back to school everyday sure is nice too...

Sunday, February 1, 2009

Thee 31st of Jan!

What a wonderful, amazing, marathon of a day. :]

Woke up at 6... Ruby picked me up at like 6:55... (20 mins before I was expecting her!)
went and got Lidia...
went and got Ben & Breanna...
...went and got Rachel...

Ruby's car only holds 5 people... generally...

there was 4 of us in the back... it's a good thing I like all my friends or I'd of been very, very, uncomfortable...

we arrived at Safeway to get some index cards... and some Starbucks of course

Vanilla Bean, yummm!

btw - drinking cold things in the morning is not a good idea...
but nevertheless, so tasty!

We got to the courthouse at around... 7:50?

...and had to stand out in the cold until 8:00 when they finally let us in!

Found out defense was going first... (me!)

We were up against Florin... I think we killed them, to be honest!

I got all of my testimony right :] and I didn't giggle!

Rachel was killing people with insane objections... the judge called her a Bulldog XD

intense!

Ruby "knocked the judge's socks off"

She did amazing... her closing was just like BAM!

Yaaay, good job, totally rocked that!

Then we went out to eat at this amazing little resturant called Hamburger Patty's

I know, weird name, but oh my God the food was sooo amazing...

I had a burger smothered in Teriyaki... it came with a knife in it o,o

!!!

Mr. Manch's brother owns the resturant, so we ate a like... $80-100 meal for $50...

and then Mr. Manch just paid for it...

Free amazing food... is the best thing in the world...

Manch is so awesome!

Anyway, we got back to the courthouse around 12:35

...we got lost on the way back... <.> ...

Prosecution's turn!

Since our other attorney for that side couldn't make it, Amanda, our beast attorney had to do the case all by herself...

which, she kind of did, anyway, considering she wrote the whole thing and the other attorney was basically just reading crap off

Think we did better without the other girl!

Well, we were up against El Camino... and we got the judge from hell

Sure, he was great for educational purposes...

...if you wanted to sit there and listen to him for like 4 hours

...as the jury

...

Well, we destroyed El Camino

Amanda got like... at least 50% of their testimoney striken from the record...

and the other 50% they had was just horrid, anyway

along with their opening and closing statements...?

Their defandant freakin' fell asleep!

and their Pre-Trial Attorney...

They weren't dressed right... didn't adress the court right... I mean wow

I didn't know there was a school out there that we would look amazing against XD

So anyway, Mock Trial didn't end until about 3:45...

I had to be at home at 4 PM...?

WHAT?!

Mock Trial was supposed to end at about 2:30...

okay...

It takes about 20 mins to get back home from downtown

Nevermind the fact that we had to drop Ben off at his dad's...

I didn't get home 'til about 4:30...

...and I found nobody at my house ready to pratice

save my BFF cello, Stephen

so that was sort of, um, useless?

We went to the school around 5, because the rest of the group showed up there.

Praticed for maybe 30 mins XD people were whining it was too cold...

I like them otherwise I would have made them stay outside...

We had timing problems, and for some reason it was really hard to hear me...

but! we pulled it off...

I think the show was a success, but there was less people there than at an orchestra concert...

My friend James gave me a giant plate of spaghetti and some apple pie...

being friends with people in the cooking academy is always a good idea!

Finally got home at about 8 PM...

14 hour day... wooow...

so long, but it was really rewarding and I felt pretty good about it all...

now it's 7 AM the next day!

...and I gotta do some homework and head off to Santa Cruz :]!!

GO SLUUGS!

& buy Marron Glace, please?
